Species Account:
Cerberilla affinis is considered to be rare on Okinawa as I have seen and collected a total of only four individuals over a period of more than thirty years of diving here. One of the four specimens (57mm individual) was found in a sandy-bottomed tide pool at "Onna Flats" (26o 28.4' N, 127o 50.8' E) during a daytime minus tide excursion. All others were collected from mixed sand/coral rubble at Seragaki while on SCUBA.
I've added a second page with images of two additional specimens.
