Species Account:
Chromodoris annae is considered to be very rare on Okinawa as I have seen and collected only three individuals over many years of diving here. The featured animal was one of two individuals collected at the same time on a red encrusting bryozoan colony at approximately 09:40am in an area of mixed sand and coral rubble. The
individual collected on 9 March, 1992, was found on a vertical rock wall at the reef edge which was covered with miscellaneous cnidarians, poriferans, bryozoans, and etc.
