Species Account:
Chromodoris lineolata is considered to be rare here. I've collected 6 individuals and seen perhaps 3-4 others. Although this less than brightly colored Chromodoris is not as brightly appointed as many others in this large family, nonetheless it's still a highly attractive animal. The broad notum with numerous fine lines immediately isolates it from any other dorid found to date on Okinawa.
