Species Account:
This beautiful Glossodoris is considered to be rare on Okinawa as I have seen and collected a total of only three individuals. Both the 57mm and 83mm individuals were collected at Seragaki in roughly the same area and habitat (mixed sand/strewn coral rubble). The 49mm specimen was collected from Horseshoe Cliffs (26o30.0'N,
127o50.9'E), also in similar habitat. Other than the size difference, all three individuals strongly resemble each other without appreciable differences.
