Species Account:
Gymnodoris sp. 4 is considered to be very rare on Okinawa as I have seen and collected only a single individual over a good many years. This attractive, red and white mottled Gymnodoris species was found crawling on the upper surface of silty-sand in an area of mixed coral rubble and silty-sand approximately 10m from an artificial man-made concrete sea wall at the SCUBA exit point.
